Four AM again. Not sleeping. Nothing remarkable happened today— my week of bizarre might be over. Or luring me into a false sense of security before it strikes me dead. It would do that.

But seriously. Fucking Light the Fuse and Run is great. I fall in love with this album again every time I listen to it, and I’ve been doing that something like once a week for five or six years.

Also, rereading my own blog, 90% of what I write is related either to sharks, whiskey, hardcore, or building instruments. Sometimes I like to think of my life as a parody of my life that is constantly running in synchronization with my real life.

This afternoon, Giovanna Gallindo and I wrote some words and a tune.
This is a rough rough rough cut with absolutely ZERO editing
recorded through a computer’s room mic, and done on a single track.
Suffice to say, The Fancie Band is getting back together.

I’m really digging this. more please?!?!?

Hopefully over Christmas break we can sit down and get an album together.
We have a few more songs written, some in pretty lo-fi recordings,
probably enough for an e.p.
I’d like to get that finished up; we had a blast writing & recording it!

i’m going at some point with my brother to get shitty punk rock tattoos, and i want to use an old idea i had with it. he’s getting the black flag bars and i’m getting the minor threat ‘out of step’ black sheep, and i want stand up and be counted in latin near it, too. so, anyone know latin?
